The nib Newcastle Knights are seeking Aboriginal artists to provide artwork for consideration for the 2026 Indigenous Round jersey.
These projects provide an opportunity for the Newcastle Knights to strengthen our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and celebrate the deep connection between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and rugby league.
The Newcastle Knights proudly acknowledge the Indigenous communities across the regions where The Wests Group Australia has a presence, extending from the Central Coast to Coffs Harbour and as far west as the Upper Hunter and New England regions.
The design featured on the jersey will showcase the cultural insights of the artist, reflecting the rich traditions, stories, and connection between culture, community, and the Newcastle Knights.
We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from these regions to apply and share their artistic vision.
