The nib Newcastle Knights Senior Representative squads continued their new campaigns over the weekend with Round 2 down at Henson Park, Sydney.

The teams travelled down to play the Newtown Jets and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks last Saturday.

The Club's Junior Reps sides were rested over the weekend with a scheduled week-off from games.

NSW Cup - Knights 22-23 Jets

The NSW Cup side were downed by one point against the Newtown Jets on Saturday at Henson Park.

A late field-goal from Jets halfback Niwhai Puru saw the home side come away victors.

Logan Aoake, Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana, Jacob Davis and Jack Welsh scored four-pointers for the Knights while Matty Arthur had a hand in multiple tries.

The NSW Cup side return home in Round 3 taking on the Penrith Panthers at Lakeside Sporting Complex this Sunday.

Jersey Flegg Cup - Knights 22-38 Sharks

The Jersey Flegg Cup side were defeated by 16 points on Saturday at Henson Park.

Cronulla ran in seven tries to the Knights four to takeaway the two points.

Tamakaimoana Whareaorere, Cullen Gray, Blake Forder and Taj Blackman posted tries for the Knights.

The Under 21's side will also return to Newcastle this weekend hosting the Panthers on the Saturday in Raymond Terrace.
