It was a Friday afternoon to remember for thousands of students in the Hunter last week.
With Christmas fast approaching and the school year winding down, 15 schools from across the region lit up in red and blue as the 2024 squad delivered this year's annual school blitz.
In collaboration with the NRL Game Development team, the nib Newcastle Knights visited the schools to assist in delivering the ‘Simply Your Best’ program.

The program aims to educate and inspire students to simply ‘do their best’ and highlight the positive impact this mindset can have on them and those around them.
Inspiring students using their positive profile, players provided examples on how they ensure they stay at their best both physically and mentally.
Across the day, the nib Newcastle Knights directly impacted over 5000 students across the region, delivering positive messages and instilling positive behaviours.
A number of schools also participated in the 'decorate your school' competition, with Minmi Primary School taking out the top prize with the entire school dressing in red and blue on the day.
