Minmi Primary School have taken out the inaugural 'Decorate Your School' competition, with their entire school turning red and blue for the day to coincide with the nib Newcastle Knights School Blitz.
In the lead up to the Blitz, which saw the NRL squad visit over 16 schools last Friday afternoon, schools were encouraged to get creative and decorate their school in the Club's red and blue colours.
Competing schools were rewarded for their creative designs with various prizes to support their school fundraising efforts, including signed Newcastle Knights memorabilia, family passes to attend 2025 home games, and a visit from Novo.
1. Minmi Public School
Minmi PS encouraged the entire school to attend dressed in Knights colours, with students arriving in their jerseys ready for the Blitz.
Additionally, the school joined in on decorating their school wall with posters, flags and plenty of red and blue artwork, designed by students.
2. Waratah Public School
Waratah PS decorated their school hall, as well as the front entry to the school with Knights jerseys and flags from seasons past.
The decorations were easily visible from outside the school, adding to the community vibes around the event.
3. Redhead Public School
Redhead PS held a Red and Blue day at the school, encouraging students to come in Knights themed attire to celebrate the Blitz.
The school also produced a Knights banner, allowing for players, students and staff to jump in for an epic photo at the conclusion of the event.
