The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce exciting youngster Evah McEwen has extended her NRLW playing contract, to remain with the Knights until the end of the 2027 season.
McEwen, 18, has risen rapidly through the women’s pathways and representative programs in 2024, making her NRLW debut in Round 9 against North Queensland, along with earning selection in the u/19s NSW and Samoan International teams.
nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said the 2024 Tarsha Gale Player of the Year is an impressive talent with a bright future ahead.
“Evah is in the top echelon of young NRLW players and has an exciting future,” Parr said.
“Despite her youth, she has already handled the challenges of international and NRLW football.
“It is wonderful news for the Knights, that one of the most prodigious talents in the game has committed to the club for at least another three years.”
