As we pass the 12-month mark since launching our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), the nib Newcastle Knights and Wests Group Australia are in a unique position to reflect on a year of growth and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The Newcastle Knights Aboriginal Advisory Group (AAG) has been integral in guiding our community engagement and social impact initiatives across the organisation.

With the AAG's guidance, both the Knights and Wests Group have deepened our connection with Indigenous communities and organisations, embedding cultural respect across our operations.

Our First Nations Working Group has worked closely on workforce policies that support the needs of First Nations employees, while our RAP Working Group has driven action and tracked our progress.

The previous 12 months have been a journey filled with challenges, learnings, and successes. As we move forward, the Knights and Wests Group are committed to building on these insights, continuing to listen, learn, and adapt in our ongoing journey toward reconciliation.
