The nib Newcastle Knights has extended the playing contract of exciting youngster Dylan Lucas until at least the end of the 2027 National Rugby League season.

A proud Wiradjuri man, Lucas has established himself as a leader in the Club’s community and indigenous programs, including being nominated for the prestigious Ken Stephen Medal and taking out the Knights Community Player of the Year award.
nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said the 2023 Knights Rookie of the Year has developed into a key player in the Knights squad.
“Over the past couple of years Dylan has become an important member of our NRL team,” Parr said.
“Dylan has been rewarded with representative honours, and our expectation is he will continue to improve and play a pivotal role for the Knights moving forward.”
