The NSWRL is pleased to announce that 9Now will stream, live and free, all three deciders from the NSWRL Grand Final Day at CommBank Stadium on Sunday 29 September with tickets starting from as little as $5.
Tickets are on sale for the 2024 NSWRL Grand Final Day for $5 for juniors (15 and under) and concession card holders, $10 for adults and $25 for a family of four. Fans are reminded they must pre-purchase tickets from Ticketek as there will be no tickets on sale at the venue.
The Grand Finals will be decided for the state’s premier competitions for both men and women respectively in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership, as well as the emerging stars of the game in the Jersey Flegg Cup (Under 21s).
The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Grand Final will feature foundation clubs (1908) North Sydney Bears and Newtown Jets. It the first time the two clubs have met in a Grand Final since 1943, which the Jets won 34-7 before 60,992 fans at the SCG.
The Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership will feature the Newcastle Knights up against the Illawarra Steelers, while the Jersey Flegg Cup will be contested between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
“The NSWRL Grand Final Day is always a tremendous occasion and I welcome the decision by 9Now to televise the deciders from three of our prestigious competitions,” NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said.
“This season was hard fought in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup with the North Sydney Bears only claiming the Minor Premiership in the final round of the regular season. I am confident both foundation clubs will enjoy their fair share of support from their passionate fan bases which will only add to the atmosphere of the day.
“The finals series has produced plenty of surprises as well as some great football and I am expecting more of the same from all teams on Sunday.”
