Ahead of our Old Boys Round this Sunday, we caught up with a former fan favourite and nib Newcastle Knights current leading try-scorer of all time, Akuila Uate.
On the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast, Uate spoke about life after footy, moving over from Fiji at an early age, getting scouted as a teenager by the Knights, plus he takes on his very own career quiz.
Dubbed 'Akuila the Thriller', the winger excited Knights fans for close to a decade scoring 110 tries from 161 games in red and blue and would go on to represent NSW, Fiji and Australia during an illustrious career.
Uate also spoke about his excitement for Old Boys Day this Sunday and reconnecting with some of his former teammates.
