Ultimate Guide: NRL Round 22 preview

The nib Newcastle Knights return to the field, fresh from the bye, heading into the make-or break part of the season.

The first stop is a visit to face the reigning premiers, the Penrith Panthers.

As part of Women in League Round as the game celebrates all the women who play their part in rugby league, the red and blue will chase a massive two points to help bolster their finals chances.

Fresh off a bye and heading into the make-or-break part of the season, the Knights will look to make their move up the ladder with a crucial win on Sunday.

The side were defeated 30-14 by the Brisbane Broncos last time out and sit in 11th on the ladder with an 8-10 record.

They come up against the reigning premiers who sit in second on the competition ladder and defeated the St George Illawarra Dragons 46-10 last round.

Greg Marzhew v Brian To'o: What a battle on the wing this shapes up to be with two powerful, metre-eaters going head-to-head.

Marzhew has averaged 176 running metres so far this season combined with 86 tackle breaks.

To'o will provide a constant threat for Penrith having totaled nine tries for the season to date and averaged 205 run metres per game.
