nib Newcastle Knights players spent some time with children and families from Camp Quality at one of the side's recent training sessions.
A Community Partner of the Knights, Camp Quality were invited to attend the Centre of Excellence to meet the playing group and grab some photos.
Camp Quality is an Australian Children’s cancer charity providing kids and families facing cancer, with a source of positivity and support.
Their focus is on programs that provide laughter and build resilience to help families navigate the challenges associated with cancer.
In further supporting Camp Quality with their mission, the Knights selected the organisation as the 50/50 charity partner for Round 20 at home against the Broncos.
Volunteers raised a total of $24,192 with 50% of the pool going towards Camp Quality to help fund ongoing initiatives and support children facing cancer.
