National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year, to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn aboutĀ First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
In celebrating NAIDOC Week within our Region, staff and players of the Club have participated in events across Worimi and Awabakal including the Newcastle Community Day, Raymond Terrace Community Day, and Lake Macquarie Ceremony.
Celebrating NAIDOC Week is important for our Club, allowing us to represent our region and our people.
Since its official endorsement in July 2023, The Knights Reconciliation Action Plan has guided the Club in our journey toward Reconciliation.
