The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to confirm Tyson Gamble has re-signed with the club for additional two National Rugby League seasons, extending his contract until at least the end of 2026.
Gamble, 28, has made 32 NRL appearances for the Knights since joining the club last season.
The live-wire half has established himself as a fierce competitor and key playmaker, fast becoming a very popular figure both on and off field.
nib Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said Gamble’s extension is reward for effort.
“Tyson has been a major contributor since his arrival at the Knights,” Parr said.
“His energy and enthusiasm are contagious for everyone around him, he plays with a toughness that has earned the respect of his teammates and this community.
“This selfless attitude Tyson brings to our club has meant extending his contract was an easy decision, we are delighted he will remain a Newcastle Knight.”
Gamble continues to progress through his post operation rehabilitation, after suffering a broken bone in his foot against the Tigers in Round 10, aiming towards a return to play in coming weeks.
