The nib Newcastle Knights have agreed to an immediate release for Jed Cartwright, to take up a multi-year deal with a Super League club.
Cartwright requested permission for an immediate departure, which both parties agreed was the best outcome due to the unique circumstances.
Jed will depart the Knights on good terms with everyone involved understanding the reasoning involved.
The Knights would like to wish Jed and his family all the best for his overseas adventures and thank him for his service whilst here in the Hunter.
