The nib Newcastle Knights NRL squad are officially set to make history in 2024, becoming the first Knights team to ever play in Fiji with the Melbourne Storm confirming the location for Round 2 of the Pre-Season Challenge in February.
After originally having the venue listed as TBC, the fixture was officially locked in this afternoon and will see both Clubs venture to the Pacific Island for the first time.
Fiji’s second largest city will play host to the clash, with Churchill Park in Lautoka the confirmed venue.
A plethora of exciting rising stars and established NRL talent are expected to make the trip east, with the game to serve as the Knights’ final hit out before the 2024 season.
