The NRLW squad have done it!
The nib Newcastle Knights NRLW side have won their second consecutive title after downing the Gold Coast Titans 24-18 at Accor Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
In a bruising and tough battle against a determined Titans outfit, a Tamika Upton masterclass plus some impressive defence led the Knights to victory.
The result is the Club's back-to-back NRLW title after also winning the premiership in 2022, with the squad heading back to Newcastle to continue the celebrations.
HOW IT PLAYED OUT:
1st - The match kicked off in hot conditions on Grand Final day.
10th min - The match was a grind in the opening stages with both teams completing high.

13th min - The Titans would strike first blood with centre Jaime Chapman scoring close to the line.
20th min - The Gold Coast added a penalty goal from in front of the posts to move out to an eight point lead.
24th min - The red and blue hit back with Jasmin Strange scoring in the corner.
Smart play from Tamika Upton freed up the No.5 as the side posted their first try of the Grand Final.

28th min - The Knights were back level when Sheridan Gallagher crossed the stripe in the opposite corner.
This time a shift to the right included quick hands from Shanice Parker to pass the ball onto an unmarked Gallagher.

31st min - Newcastle were red hot in attack scoring their third try in quick succession.

35th min - The Knights went into the sheds ahead 12-8.
39th min - The Gold Coast hit back to level the scores early in the second half as Jaime Chapman scored her second.
42nd min - Jaime Chapman posted her hat-trick as the Titans regained the lead 18-12.
52nd min - Shanice Parker almost had her second try put was held up on the line by the Titans defence.
60th min - Needing a try to draw level, our Dally M Medallist delivered.
Tamika Upton burst through the tired defence following a few offloads from the Knights. Southwell added the extras to lock the game up at 18-all.
