nib Newcastle Knights NRLW forward Caitlan Johnston has been charged by the Match Review Committee for a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle following the side’s Round 3 match against the Parramatta Eels.
The forward has accepted the early guilty plea resulting in a one match suspension.
Johnston will serve the one game ban this Sunday when the NRLW squad take on the Gold Coast Titans at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Meanwhile, NRL forward Lachlan Fitzgibbon was charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge following the side’s Round 23 match against the Dolphins.
Fitzgibbon has accepted the early guilty plea resulting in a $1800 fine.
The forward won’t serve any match suspension.
