Recovery Report: Saifiti update

The nib Newcastle Knights NRL and NRLW squads have been assessed ahead of their upcoming games this weekend.

For the NRL squad, Daniel Saifiti unfortunately suffered a quad muscle strain in our Round 21 victory against the Melbourne Storm. He has commenced rehab with a return to play date yet to be set.

Adam Clune sustained a calf injury in the lead up to Round 21. He has successfully begun his return to run program with the goal of returning to play in the coming weeks.

For the NRLW squad, Rima Butler passed her HIA test against the Dragons and returned to the field. Butler is free to play against the Cowboys.

Laishon Albert-Jones suffered a category one concussion against the Dragons and will miss this round due to the mandatory standdown period.
