nib Newcastle Knights pathways players Myles Martin and Jermaine McEwen have been selected for the NSW Blues Under 19's State of Origin squad for the standalone match against Queensland on July 13.
Martin, who hails from Bathurst, is currently on a NRL development contract with the Club.
The versatile lock forward captained and played a crucial role in the SG Ball Cup side's run to the 2023 Grand Final, plus was awarded the Club's Elijah Faalua Award for Leadership.
Second-row forward, McEwen, also played a major role in the SG Ball campaign taking home the Player of the Year award at the pathways awards night.
The pair currently play in the Jersey Flegg Cup squad.
The match will be played at Kayo Stadium, Redcliffe on Thursday, July 13.
Supporters can watch on Nine, Nine Now, Fox League or Kayo Sports with the match scheduled for 7:45pm.
NSW currently hold the shield after defeating the Maroons 32-4 in last season's Under 19's match.
