Recovery Report: Gagai update

The nib Newcastle Knights NRL squad has been assessed ahead of their Round 18 clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs this Sunday at Accor Stadium.

Dane Gagai has suffered a plantar fascia injury. With the bye coming next week, Dane will commence rehab with the goal of Round 20 selection.

Krystian Mapapalangi has begun unrestricted team training and will be available for selection in coming weeks.

Dane Aukafolau has suffered a knee injury and as a result is unavailable for selection this week. Pending successful rehab progress, Dane should be available within the next two weeks.

Hymel Hunt has begun reintroduction to team training and will be available for selection in coming weeks.
