Recovery Report: Fitzgibbon and Hodgson update

The nib Newcastle Knights squad has been assessed ahead of the side's Round 17 clash against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday at BlueBet Stadium.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon suffered a Category 1 head knock in Round 16 making him unavailable for selection this round. Pending the successful progression through concussion protocols, Lachlan will be available for selection in Round 18.

Hymel Hunt continues to progress in his return to performance program. Successful reintroduction to team skills and contact is his next progression.

Bailey Hodgson has undergone shoulder stabilisation surgery and as such will miss the remainder of the season.

The NRL team has been named to take on the Panthers this Saturday with all three grades in action at BlueBet Stadium.
