In this week's pathways report, we take a look at the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams in the Knock-On-Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions.
The two men's side took on the St George Illawarra Dragons pathways teams over the weekend.

NSW Cup - Knights 22-26 Dragons
The NSW Cup team have come close to a breakthrough victory, going down by four points to the Dragons at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday.
The side led 12-8 at half-time with Club debutant Dane Aukafolau crossing for a first-half double proving too strong close to the line.
Ben Talty and Simi Sasagi extended the Knights lead after the break before the Dragons staged a fightback.
NSW Cup Highlights: Round 11
Zac Lomax, Sione Finau and Jacob Liddle scored three tries for the Red V in the last 20 minutes to snatch the lead from the red and blue.
The result keeps the Knights in 13th on the ladder after 10 games.
They will play the fourth placed Newtown Jets in the next round this Saturday at Henson Park.
Jersey Flegg Cup - Knights 22-30 Dragons
The Jersey Flegg Cup team have narrowly gone down to the Dragons at Cessnock Sportsground on Saturday.
With a host of SG Ball Grand Finalists transitioning into the Flegg team, the side scored four tries to the Dragons five in a close affair.
The two sides shared the lead throughout the game with winger Kyle McCarthy scoring two early tries.
The Dragons would score two of their own inside the first 11 minutes before Mitch Henderson scored on the stroke of half-time to give the Knights the lead.
Jersey Flegg: Round 11 Highlights
Noah Nailagoliva barged over the line to extend Newcastle's advantage, but it was the away side who would finish on top.
The Dragons scored another three tries to regain the lead and claim an eight-point win.
The Jersey Flegg Cup side sit in ninth spot on the ladder after nine games.
They will play the Sharks this Saturday at Henson Park.
