We're back for Season 3 of the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast, the official Podcast of the nib Newcastle Knights, and what better way to start than to hear from our flying winger and growing cult-hero, Dom Young.
Fresh off a huge World Cup campaign and having played in some of the biggest stadiums in the sporting world, Young reflected on his debut for England and the exhilarating experience of a major tournament within his home country. Listen now on Apple Music or Spotify.
"It was definitely amazing, very special," Young said on the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast.
"Just getting that experience of playing in front of the England crowds and friends and family that I don't get too much over here especially, was just pretty special.
"Singing the national anthem, hearing all the English fans and how they get behind the team, it's hard to describe that feeling really."
Young equalled the record for most tries in a single Test for England in their defeat over Greece and spoke about the huge games against Samoa.
The 21-year-old also had his brother Alex representing Jamaica at the RLWC in a proud moment for the Young family.
Jae and Mat are back on board for another huge year on KNIGHTS // HQ and we kicked things off with a couple of 'would you rather' questions including whether the boys would rather claim an Olympic gold medal or win a SuperBowl ring.
