The nib Newcastle Knights NRLW side have defeated the Gold Coast Titans 16-12 in Round 2 of the NRLW premiership at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday.
The side made it back-to-back wins to start the campaign scoring three to the Titans two.
The result puts the team tied on points with the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra Dragons with two wins each from the opening rounds of the competition.
As part of a double header on the Gold Coast and fresh off an opening round win over Brisbane, the girls started fast.
Three minutes into the game and some quick hands down the right gave space to Autumn-Rain Stephens Daly.
The Kiwi international made no mistake for her second try of the season.

The Titans wrestled back some momentum with their defence and hit back through Zara Canfield six minutes later.
The interchange of Emma Manzelmann changed the game in the first half with the lievwire from Mackay springing into action.
On the 23rd minute mark, Manzelmann broke through line and went herself for the Knights second of the night.

Soon after, the crafty dummy-half became the supplier setting up fellow Queenslander Tamika Upton for her first try in Knights colours.

Caitlan Johnston looked to have scored the Knights fourth, but the pass to the forward was ruled forward.
Winning the field position battle, the Knights had just over 800 run metres to the Titans 664 after the first half.
The second half began and the match settled into an arm wrestle.
Upton looked threatening making multiple line-breaks.
With 12 to play, the Titans reduced the margin to 4 with Steph Hancock running through a hole to score the home side's second and set up a grandstand finish.
Titans player Canfield was sent to the sin-bin for a high shot on Upton.
The girls would hold on for a second straight victory to start the season.
The team are back at home next Sunday, playing before the NRLW fixture, against the Parramatta Eels.
