In this week's Rookie Report, we take a look at the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams in the Knock-On-Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions.
The two senior mens teams took on the St George Illawarra Dragons pathways outfits in Round 19 of their respective competitions.
The NSW Cup side took on the Dragons on Saturday at St Johns Oval, Charlestown while the Jersey Flegg Cup team played the Red V on Friday night before the NRL fixture at McDonald Jones Stadium.

NSW Cup - Knights 22-24 Dragons
The NSW Cup side have gone down in the dying minutes by two points to the St George Illawarra Dragons on Saturday.
In a back-and-forth contest, the away team took the competition points with a four-pointer with four minutes to play.
The Dragons got off to an early start with two tries in the opening 10 minutes before Chris Randall hit back for the Knights with a try from dummy-half.
St George Illawarra extended their lead with Treigh Stewart scoring his second in the 21st minute.
Just before half-time, Heath Gibbs continued his strong try-scoring form coming down with a high ball to bring the Knights level.
In the second half, Newcastle hit the lead for the first time as Luke Huth scored another try out of dummy-half.
The Knights opened up a 10-point lead when Liam Wiscombe powered his way to the line with 16 minutes to play.
The Dragons reduced the margin with a try through Max Feagai on the 70th minute mark before Stewart delivered a killer blow with his third, four minutes from full-time.
The team remains in ninth spot and will rest up with the bye this weekend before a crucial run of games to finish the season.

NSW Cup Highlights: Knights v Dragons Round 19
Jersey Flegg Cup - Knights 24-16 Dragons
After a last start loss to Manly, the Jersey Flegg Cup team were back to winning ways with an eight-point win over the St George Illawarra Dragons on Friday night.
In a curtain-raiser before the NRL fixture, the side got off to a brilliant start with two tries in the opening 10 minutes through Tevita Toloi and James Johnson.
The Dragons fought their way back into the contest with two tries of their own to bring the scores level at the break.
The Jersey Flegg team went to another gear in the second half scoring three quickfire tries through Liam Sutton, David Armstrong and Ethan Ferguson within the space of 15 minutes.
The away team scored a late try with nine minutes to play, however the Flegg Cup team would hold on for another two competition points.
With 12 wins on the board for the season, the result moves the Knights back into second position on the ladder.
The side will also rest up with the bye this weekend.
