In this week's Rookie Report, we take a look at the nib Newcastle Knights players developing in the SG Ball Cup, Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup and Harold Matthews Cup competitions.
The junior representative sides were on the road again in Round 4 travelling down to Leichhardt Oval to play the Balmain Tigers.
The Tarsha Gale Cup fixture was postponed against the Illawarra Steelers.

SG Ball Cup - Knights 16-18 Balmain Tigers
In wet conditions in Sydney, the SG Ball side suffered their first loss of the campaign going down to the Tigers.
The Knights were off to a promising start when winger, Ethan Ferguson, and five-eight, Mitch Henderson, scored early.
The Tigers hit back with two tries of their own before Myles Martin put the Knights into a half-time lead.
In an attrition battle, the Tigers would score the sole try of the second half in the 54th minute, which would prove to be the difference in the end.
The Knights SG Ball side currently sit in a strong fourth position after four games.
Harold Matthews Cup - Knights 8-18 Balmain Tigers
The Harold Matthews side went down to the Tigers in likewise testing conditions at Leichhardt Oval.
The Tigers opened the scoring on the 5th minute mark before Knights winger, Tully Wholert, brought the scores level.
The home side would nab two tries either side of half-time to extend their lead.
Centre, Connor Votano, reduced the deficit for the Knights on the 50th minute mark, however the Tigers would score their fourth try soon after to wrap up the win.
The Harold Matts side currently sits in 15th after four rounds ahead of their next clash against the Eels.
