Happy Holidays from the Newcastle Knights

With season 2022 just around the corner, the nib Newcastle Knights would like to wish all of our Members, fans and partners a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.

We thank everyone for their support in 2021, a year in which the Knights once again earned an NRL Finals berth under Head Coach, Adam O’Brien.

In a year of many highlights, we were awarded an NRLW licence, saw construction continue on our Centre of Excellence at Hunter Park, and cheered on Daniel Saifiti and Kalyn Ponga as they represented with honour in State of Origin.

We watched from afar as the Knights battled adversity away from home after the NRL competition was relocated to Queensland, a stay that culminated in Jacob Saifiti being named as the latest winner of the Danny Buderus Medal for Knights Player of the Year.

Just 68 days will stand between the NRL team and its Round 1 clash against the Sydney Roosters when players and staff report back to continue preseason on January 4. In the meantime, we can’t wait to watch the Knights make their NRLW debut at McDonald Jones Stadium as part of an historic triple header on February 27.

2022 will be big. We look forward to riding the highs and lows with you.
