Young halfback, Phoenix Crossland, had another solid season in 2021.

When called upon, Crossland impressed in his nine appearances in the top grade.

The 21-year-old finished his third season within the first grade side, with his nine appearances his most in a single season since his debut in 2019.

The young half was called upon in Round 2 and played a crucial role in the win over the Warriors.

Fast forward to Round 9 and Crossland put in a man of the match performance in the comeback win over the Raiders.

After a tough couple of outings against the Tigers and Cowboys in back-to-back rounds, Phoenix was apart of the memorable win over arch rivals, Manly, at home in Round 12.

Crossland played in his first finals game and provided a try-assist in the Elimination Final loss to Parramatta.

In his nine appearances, Crossland produced three try-assists and four line-break assists.

He also kicked his first goal in the NRL this season.
