It wasn't always pretty, but the job got done.
In the run towards the finals, it's often the ugly wins which are looked back on as the most important. At Suncorp Stadium tonight, it was our leaders who stood up and ensured that was exactly what we got.
As we break down the candidates for tonight's Man of the Match Award, don't forget to have your say at the bottom of the page!
Highlights: Pearce impresses up north
Daniel Saifiti
We're starting to run out of superlatives for the NSW Origin prop.
'D-Saf' was absolutely enormous in the middle, taking tough carry after tough carry as he ensured the Knights ate up plenty of metres every set.
In his 64 minutes, Saifiti ran for 206 metres, 72 post contact metres and made 25 tackles in what was a massive shift.
Considering this came just four days after a similar effort against Canberra, you can do nothing but admire our Alpha Male.
Mitchell Pearce
Ahh, Junior.
Our No.7 has had an injury interrupted season, and you can't deny his presence on the park both lifts and calms the team.
With the side trailing late in the first half, Pearce took it on himself to power his way over for a crucial try in the shadows of half time.
He also managed a try assist, line break assist and 96 run metres in a dominant performance.
Tyson Frizell
Let's paint the picture.
Your side is 12-8 up in a must win game and being forced to come out of trouble. Who do you get the ball too?
Thankfully for the Knights, they found Frizell, who made a massive break which ultimately led to a Mitch Barnett try that sent the Knights on their way.
Frizell also made 27 tackles with just one miss and ran for 137 metres.
But was he your man of the match? Have your say below!
