Well, what a result that was!
The nib Newcastle Knights fought tooth and nail, scrapped for every inch and powered their way over the top of a red-hot Manly side to retain the Mal Reilly Trophy and move level with the top eight on Sunday evening.
While every player on the field gave their all, there were a few standouts for the Man of the Match award.
Don't forget to have your say below!
Highlights: Knights roll Manly to move level with 8th spot
Connor Watson
In what has been a massive week for Watson, the 24-year-old topped it off with one of his best displays of the season in Indigenous Round.
Watson was thrown into the five-eighth role after Kurt Mann withdrew from the clash late, and proved why he is everybody's favourite utility player with an incredible display.
The proud Gamilaroi man 162 metres, made five tackle breaks, 24 tackles (with zero missed) and picked up a key try assist.
It's easy to make an argument that Watson was the difference between the two sides today.
Daniel Saifiti
The Enforcer. The Alpha Male. The Skipper.
If he needed to make a statement to NSW Origin Coach Brad Fittler, Daniel Saifiti did so and then some.
Saifiti led from the front, picking up 186 run metres, 71 post contact metres, three tackle breaks, two line breaks and the match sealing try in a stand-out display.
It's seriously hard to go past him in the Man of the Match stakes.
David Klemmer
A serial feature in this poll, Klemmer was again outstanding against Manly.
The big man ran for 204 run metres, 72 post contact metres, made three tackle breaks and 23 tackles with zero misses.
A great performance up front, but was he your Man of the Match? Have your say below!
