Shibasaki celebrates the raising of the Torres Strait Islander flag
nib Newcastle Knights centre and proud Boigu & Murray Islands man, Gehamat Shibasaki, celebrates the first ever rising of the Torres Strait Islander flag on Newcastle's iconic City Hall. The celebration took place with a special ceremony at Civic Park, with Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes among those in attendance.
