Two Newcastle players have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following Sunday’s loss to Melbourne.
Pasamai Saulo was hit with a grade three dangerous contact charge due to a tackle on Jahrome Hughes.
Saulo will miss two matches with an early plea.
Chris Randall was charged with a grade one dangerous contact on Cameron Munster.
He will not miss any games with an early plea.
Both players will take the early guilty plea which means Randall will be available for selection this week and Saulo will miss two games.
