Channel Nine's ‘The Greatest’ program has ranked Andrew Johns as the second best of the NRL era.
According to former halfback Peter Sterling, the eighth immortal was a well-rounded player with no ceiling.
"He could do it all," Sterling said.
"With the football, he'd throw a great pass whether it be short or long and he played with vision when he had the football in his hands.
"He defended like a back-rower and was built like a back-rower. He could kick the football in general play as well as anybody.
"He was a great competitor and that's when the cream rises to the top."
