nib Newcastle Knights back rower Aidan Guerra is auctioning off six of his Queensland State of Origin jerseys from the 2015 and 2016 winning series, all signed by him and his QLD teammates, to raise funds and donations for those suffering and experiencing terrible loss from the recent bushfires.
The three highest bids for each Origin series will receive a jersey each with their contribution set to be donated to services such as NSW Rural Fire Service, WIRES Wildlife Rescue and Red Cross Australia.
Guerra said via his Instagram page: “I, like many, are struggling to come to grips with the magnitude of what is even actually happening, and how long it will take, if ever, for those regions and the people of those regions to recover.”
“Our hearts are breaking for the families, animals, and everyone that’s suffering through these bushfires.
“I want to help…these jerseys mean a lot to me, but I’m happy to give them up in support.”

Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives the Knights will be conducting as ways to support those affected by the NSW Bushfires.
