2019 was a big year for Brodie Jones in the Canterbury Cup.
Jones solidified himself as a regular in the Cup team this year, playing all but three games in a relatively injury-free season.
In those 20 appearances, Jones managed to chalk up two line-breaks, one line-break assist, eight offloads and two tries. Not bad for a workhorse second rower.
His defence was just as impressive, with a tackle efficiency of well over 86%.
The 21-year-old Cessnock junior continued to knock on the door for an NRL debut, with his endurance and huge work ethic contributing greatly to his success in his second season as a fulltime player.
With 2020 on the horizon, Jones will no doubt continue to state his claim for an NRL debut.
