It’s good news for Edrick Lee and Connor Watson after Sunday’s game. They pulled up a bit sore but are tracking well.
Both have been battling plantar fasciitis. Watson suffered a rupture and Lee a minor strain in the Round 9 game against the Bulldogs.
Head of physical performance Balin Cupples explained both are building into the week.

“After initial post game reviews last weekend in Brisbane, we thought we could get Edrick and Connor up and build their loads through,” Cupples said.
“Quality work from medical team and physio, managed to get them through the game.”
“Little bit sore today but both will build into this week.”
After surgery to repair his injured ankle, Aidan Guerra has received positive news from the surgeon.

“In terms of healing in the last couple of days, we’re just building his alter G running over the next couple of weeks,” added Cupples.
“He’s out of the boot building his strength and putting some weight through that foot.”
Slade Griffin continues to progress.
“He’s building into more reactive agility now and into some football specific drills,” claimed Cupples.
“He’s going really well with his strength stuff and his application at training especially over the last month.

“His progression has been outstanding.”
Meanwhile Tautau Moga took a knock to his ankle in the weekend’s Canterbury Cup game.
It’s positive news with no significant damage.
“He’ll build through the week and go through some contact progression to build his confidence into the weekends game,” said Cupples.
