A grind.
That’s what Newcastle Knights centre Hymel Hunt expects from the Dragons on Sunday.
The Red V have lost their last three, the Knights have won their last three.
While the red and blue might be on a roll, the Knights centre is weary of a side which has plenty of talent.
“They’ve lost the last three games but that doesn’t mean they’re not a good team,” Hunt explained.
Untold Stories: Planned plays coming to life
“They finished in the top four last year and there’s a good chance they could again this year.
“We can’t underestimate them; we’ve got to put our best foot forward and just focus on those little things.”
While combinations are starting to click and the Knights spine producing impressive footy, Hunt knows they’ll have to keep working hard on their craft.
“There’s seven of us that came to the club, building new relationships, new combinations,” he said.
“We knew it (combinations) would always come especially with KP going back to fullback and Connor going back to right half.
“Ju (Mitchell Pearce) is just doing what he does and playing his own footy and is playing unbelievable and so is KP.
“It is starting to click, and we can only go up from here.”
