"My goals for next season are to get in with the NRL boys and learn and hopefully push for my NRL debut."

Having joined the Knights in 2018 from the Melbourne system, Fermor wasted no time finding his feet.

The 20-year-old capped off an outstanding debut season for the Knights by being named NSW Rugby League and Newcastle Jersey Flegg player of the year.

He also represented Queensland in the 20s Origin series and will join the NRL squad in 2019.

Knights Player List Manager Troy Pezet said there's a lot to like about the backrower.

"Beau has it all," Pezet said.

"He's a big body who runs hard and can break the line.

"He's a fearless runner who holds his own in defence. He joined us from the Storm and has been a standout. We're thrilled he's staying with us for another two seasons."

Fermor finished the 20s competition as the leading try scorer.

The new deal keeps him with the Club until at least the end of 2020.
