A foot injury has ruled Daniel Saifiti out of Saturday's clash against the Roosters at McDonald Jones Stadium.
It's a cruel blow for the powerhouse forward following his try-scoring, 200-metre performance against Parramatta last week.
With Saifiti sidelined, 18th man Jacob Lillyman returns to the team to partner Herman Ese'ese in the starting pack.
While missing Saifiti, the nib Newcastle Knights do have Ese'ese back from suspension.
Brock Lamb has also dropped out of the 21-man squad and will play ISP NSW this weekend.
