Jack Cogger produced his best game of the season last week.
There's no denying it.
And while the young half was pleased with his performance in Saturday's 30-4 victory over Parramatta, the nib Newcastle Knight said there's no room for complacency.
Rather than reflect on his performance, Cogger is looking ahead to the Roosters.
Press Conference: Cogger looking to build off solid performance
"One of the better games I've played," Cogger said.
"I've played in patches over my time over the last two years. I haven't consistently been able to put games back to back, so I think it was one of my better performances.
"The biggest test will be doing that again this weekend."
The Knights host the Roosters at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday at 5.30pm.
Both teams are coming off wins with the Roosters toppling the Tigers in a hard-fought victory on Sunday without their State of Origin representatives.
Press Conference: Griffin applauds Saifiti's monster effort
The likes of James Tedesco, Boyd Cordner and Dylan Napa are likely to be made available for the clash which has the Knights on red-alert.
With the opposition boasting punch across the park, the No.7 admits he needs to lift.
"Just be confident," he said when asked how he backs up last week's performance.
"I had a fairly good game but I have to build on it.
"It's going to be never ending. I'm always going to have to improve. That's how'll tackle it next week."
