It will be a bottom of the table clash this Saturday at Morry Breen Oval as the nib Newcastle Knights ISP squad take on the Wyong Ross.
With only one win and a draw, the Knights will be determined to record a few wins before the season gets away from them.
With an injury to Brock Lamb, there will be a new halves pairing in Jack Johns and Hayden Loughrey, who played together last year in the Under 20s side.
It will be the first call up to Reserve Grade for Loughrey, who has impressed in Jersey Flegg so far this season.
Although named last week, Matt Allwood will play his first game back from injury for ISP in the centres, alongside Cory Denniss and Under 20s Mitch Andrews on the wing.
ISP will welcome back some grunt in the forward pack with Brodie Jones returning from injury and is set to start in the number 12 jersey.
After a stellar 2017, the Roos aren't having much luck either but shouldn't be discounted with a side stacked with NRL and World Cup experience including former Knight Josh Mantellato, Mitch Cornish, Reece Robinson and Kurt Baptiste.
Just a short drive down the M1, it will be an away game at Morry Breen Oval in Kanwal, kick-off at 3pm.
