The nib Newcastle Knights Jersey Flegg side remain undefeated as they put on an impressive scoring display for fans at Ringrose Park on Sunday.
It was reminiscent of their performance during a trial match earlier in the season, defeating the Parramatta Eels Jersey Flegg side 22-14.
The first 40 minutes saw an impressive attacking display from both sides, with Knights Hayden Loughrey and Justin Worley scoring tries and Eels Ethan Parry and Dylan Brown also crossing the line.
It was a quick start for the Knights with halfback Loughrey crossing the line in the ninth minute, and Kurtis Dark converting in the 10th minute.
The Eels retaliated in the 14th minute with Parry putting points on the board, and the try unconverted.
Midway through the first half Knights winger Worley upped the ante to make the score 10-4, however the attempted conversion was unsuccessful from Dark.
The Eels drew next blood with halfback Brown crossing the line in the 31st minute, however he failed to convert his own try.
The second half saw tries from Knights Nash Birch, Pasami Saulo and Eels Sean Keppie.
Knights five-eighth Birch broke through in the 57th minute for the Knights, with second rower Dark nailing the conversion to bring the Knights up 18-8.
Eels prop Keppie quickly reacted to score in the 64th minute, with the try converted by halfback Brown.
Red and blue Prop Saulo put on an impressive display in his return to the Jersey Flegg side scoring for the Knights in the 69th minute, with the try converted by Dark to bring the side to an eight-point lead over the Eels.
