The nib Newcastle Knights Junior Presentation Night was held at Wests Mayfield on Monday evening celebrating excellence on the footy field for the 2017 season.
It was a successful night for Under 18s Matthew Croker and Under 16s Bradman Best, who each took home two awards on the night.
Croker was awarded the prestigious SG Ball Player of the Year Award while on the back of a thrilling grand final victory, forward Christian Ma’anamia took out the Harold Matthews Player of the Year Award.
With an impressive season switching from the forwards to fullback, Under 16s vice-captain Best received the Danny Buderus Encouragement Award while a strong season in the halves saw Max Buderus come up with Harrold Matthews Coaches Award.

Knights coach Nathan Brown and the Mata’utia brothers, Sione and Pete, were there to hand over some of the awards while Newcastle juniors Brock Lamb, Sam Stone and Luke Yates were in attendance.
