Ken Sio has now notched up five games for the nib Newcastle Knights and feels he’s settling well into the Newcastle lifestyle and wearing the red and blue.

“I think I’m going alright at the moment, I could still pick up some defensive work but I’m pretty happy,” Sio commented.

The Knights winger said despite a few losses, the team is upbeat about what they can achieve this season, confident of adding another win against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Friday.

“The boys want to come back this week with big improvement and hopefully get that win,” Sio said.

“They are a big side especially in the forwards and that is our task for the weekend to match their forwards and beat them with our backs.”

Sio admits combinations amongst the side are continually developing.

“Hopefully it clicks this week and throughout the season,” Sio explained.

“I need to get the ball to (Dane) Gagai and let him do his stuff.

“There is a few combinations that are definitely going well especially on the left side and in the middle.

“Our halves are coming along nicely as well.”

The Knights take on the Bulldogs for their Round 6 clash at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday, kick-off is at 6pm.
