Mitch Barnett was again named Players’ Player in the nib Newcastle Knights’ Round 3 loss to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
It is the second accolade for the 22-year-old who was named Players’ Player in the Knights' first hit out of the 2017 season against the New Zealand Warriors.
Barnett was in the back row to register an impressive 42 tackles in his 56 minutes on the field, now included in the league’s top tacklers, recording 115 tackles over three rounds.
