Newcastle Knights five-eighth Jarrod Mullen has been cleared by a specialist to play in Round 19 after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Mullen, who suffered the injury in Round 8, will prepare to make his return to the field against the Melbourne Storm at Hunter Stadium on Sunday.
Training resumed on Monday after a bye weekend in Round 18 for the men in red and blue.
