The Newcastle Knights are getting behind the The Big Day Off, a cause Alex McKinnon is an ambassador for.
The Big Day Off initative gives people the opportunity to score a paid day off work and support Australians with spinal cord injuries.
To get involved, businesses simply register and agree to offer an extra paid day or days off work and employees then buy online raffle tickets in a draw to win those days off.
All proceeds from ticket sales go towards supporting people with a spinal cord injury and research into a cure.
All ticket sales are carried out through the Big Day Off website and the draw for each company takes place on the 1 July.
The Club is proud to promote the Big Day off campaign in the lead up to the Alex McKinnon Cup which will be hosted at Hunter Stadium when the Newcastle Knights play the St George Illawarra Dragons on Saturday June 25. Tickets to the Round 16 match can be purchased HERE.
