Coach Nathan Brown has named a 19-man team for Monday’s Round 12 match against the Parramatta Eels at Hunter Stadium.
Jake Mamo replaces Dane Gagai (Origin) at fullback, while Sam Mataora, Cory Denniss, Jaelen Feeney, David Bhana and Pat Mata’utia are included in an extended squad.
Brock Lamb (ankle) and Jacob Saifiti (wrist) are among a number of players unavailable due to injury.
Meanwhile, joint-captain Jeremy Smith will need to prove his fitness later in the week after straining his bicep in last weekend’s match.
At Monday’s game, the Knights are supporting Marc Glanville’s fundraising initiative for The Stars of Newcastle Dance for Cancer. Proceeds from his fundraiser will contribute to local Cancer Council support services and directly help those living with cancer in the Hunter community.
