On a hard day at the office it was Sam Mataora that was named Players' Player in Round 2.
Coming up against tough opposition he provided plenty of punch through the middle with his uncompromising runs.
Averaging 11 metres per run up front is never easy when the likes of Sam and George Burgess are intent on stopping you, but Mataora achieved this, as well as making 36 tackles in 39 minutes on the field.
His involvement will be crucial again this weekend against a big Canberra Raiders pack, but Mataora has already shown that he is ready for the challenge.
