As the Newcastle Knights roll into the season opener at Hunter Stadium on Saturday, the Club is excited to announce it has reached 13,000 Members!
The Club says thank you to all Members who have made the ultimate commitment by becoming UKNIGHTED in 2015.
Captain Kurt Gidley believes the phenomenal show of support from Members at the start of the season provides a significant boost to the squad.
“To know we have such strong support off the field means a great deal to the players,” Gidley said.
“There’s nothing better than running out at Hunter Stadium, especially at the start of the season, having so many loyal fans behind us.”
It’s not too late for people to sign up as a Knights Member. The larger the Membership base, the stronger it makes the team.
With a goal of 14,500 Members, the Club needs more help to reach this final milestone.
How you can help?
1. Recruit friends and family to become UKNIGHTED this season and to cheer on the Knights.
2. Support the team at Hunter Stadium every game this year. Membership is transferrable, so Members can help the Knights fill the stands by passing their Membership on to someone else when they can’t attend.
3. Like the Knights on Facebook, and follow the Club on Twitter and Instagram using the #goKnights and #UKNIGHTED hashtags to connect with the team.
4. Make sure the Knights have the correct contact details so Members don’t miss out on exclusive Member benefits this season. Update details online, email or call the team on 1300 465 644.
5. Members can use the 10 per cent Membership discount at our Knights Club Shop online or at Hunter Stadium, to ensure they are wearing the latest Newcastle Knights apparel.
